Position Summary:
The Elected Leadership team is responsible for inspiring, developing and supporting our members to effectively pursue elected office as a path to help kids and their community. Furthermore, the Elected Leadership team leverages its expertise to help member-driven issue-advocacy campaigns.
The Manager, Campaign Communication and Digital Strategy Support provides members with campaign digital tools and communications resources. The Manager will be part of the Elected Leadership Develop team that supports LEE members seeking office at every level of government across the country and will report to the Senior Director, Develop. The Manager will work collaboratively with the Elected Leadership Develop team specialists and Resources, Innovation, & Compliance teams to provide members with high-quality resources to help them gain competitive advantage in their campaigns. This support will primarily focus on digital strategy, including website, video, and social media. Furthermore, the Manager will write email copy, press releases, and other political communications in support of candidates and member-driven campaigns. As a member of the Elected Leadership Develop team, the Manager may also support the team through managing call time for member campaigns, coaching candidates on call time fundraising skills and mindsets, and other special projects as assigned by the Senior Director.

Responsibilities:
Digital
- Develop websites and logos for candidates
- Develop video and social media content
Communications
- Write website copy, email, press releases, and other political communications in support of candidates and member-driven campaigns
Call time management, coaching and execution
- Support candidates through their fundraising call-time
- Support fundraising strategy with fundraising, digital, communications, field, and targeting experts
- Coach candidates on fundraising skills and mindsets
Data & Targeting
- Support management of campaign data
- Support voter universe and cutting turf
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional work experience, including 3 years of political communications or campaign experience
- Demonstrated evidence of graphic design, website development, and social media content creation
- 2+ cycles of call time coaching preferred
- 2+ years managing and using data to inform operations and track progress to goal
- Experience with office and campaign technology platforms, including Word, Excel, Google docs, Pardot, Salesforce, Asana, Ruzuku
- Ability to work when needed to assist with candidate candidate call time and/or other urgent needs during campaign season
- Desire to continuously learn and master campaign management competencies, including fundraising, digital strategy, digital design, political communications, and targeting
- Experience working in virtual, matrixed, collaborative environment
- Ability to communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
- Strong, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion
- Deep passion for educational equity and belief in LEE's mission and theory of change
