NOW HIRING: Political Director for Northeast United State Senate Campaign
Responsibilities
- Assist the candidate in building strong relationships with elected officials, allied organizations, and State Party delegates.
- Develop a priority work plan for outreach to different constituency groups.
- Monitor statewide policy and political issues for the campaign.
- Organize and conduct regular conference calls with endorsers and the candidate.
- Assist the candidate with political outreach across the state.
- Work with the Campaign Manager and Engagement Director to develop a plan for the state party's convention in 2020.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience working for political, campaigns, or labor organizations. Northeastern experience is preferred.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain working with elected and political leaders.
- Self-starter who shows strong initiative and sets high standards for individual and team performance.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; a proven ability to effectively and independently manage projects with many moving parts to produce high-quality results on tight deadlines.
