Graphic Designers Needed - Call for Portfolios
Award-Winning Political Advertising Firm seeks graphic designers to work on a by-project contract basis for the upcoming Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Fall 2020 election cycles. Pay is commensurate with experience, is set on a per-project basis, and includes a set number of designs and revisions to each design by project to protect. Additional revisions would receive additional compensation.
This is a remote, contract-based opportunity. You will be able to set your own hours and location, as long as the project deadlines are met, and you will report directly to the Creative Director. You may work with other members of the team directly, or may work indirectly through the Creative Director dependent upon the size and timeline of the project(s). While we need both still graphics and motion graphics/editing designers, applicants only need to be able to do one type of work in order to be considered. Applicants who are qualified in both areas are also welcome to apply to work on projects of both still and motion graphics.
Still Graphics for Print and Digital Advertising
The bulk of the available work will be still graphics that are ultimately used in print and digital advertising in connection with candidates for political office. All designs must ultimately be done in Adobe InDesign or Illustrator, and access to Adobe CC is preferred. Experience with- and professional competency in- the Adobe Creative Cloud is a requirement for still graphics designers.
Motion Graphics for Digital and Broadcast Advertising
Additional work will be available in the use of compiling and editing recorded imagery and/or stock footage to create 15-second, 30-second, and 60-second advertisements for independent expenditures and/or candidates for office. Ads will ultimately be used in digital and television/streaming advertising. All produced ads must be able to be formatted and optimized for the various networks and streaming services. Production must be done in either Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Professional competency in- and access to- one or both of those programs is a requirement.
