NOW HIRING: Community Organizer - Texas Campaign for the Environment: Work for the earth that you love!

THE ENVIRONMENT HAS NEVER BEEN IN MORE DANGER.

Texas Campaign for the Environment is the state's leading environmental lobbyist group active on water, air quality, energy, and health. We've been claiming victories in Dallas since 1991!

The Trump Administration is rapidly chipping away at vital environmental protections, federal agencies, and laws. Pipelines carrying explosive and hazardous fuels are running roughshod over Native American land. Landowners are being abused by multi-billion dollar corporate bullies who use eminent domain to seize their property.
It's clear the Trump Administration has no desire to protect our health, environment, or future generations. We need strong leaders to take a stand. Will YOU step up?

We are hiring entry-level community organizers to join our awesome team of politically-minded students, graduates, and advocates.

• We are
seeking passionate individuals who care about the planet and enjoy talking to people.
• Work with dynamic colleagues while gaining hands-on experience in
politics, communication, and advocacy.
• Enjoy
paid training, competitive benefits, and opportunities for state and nationwide travel and advancement.
•
Availability: Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m (minimum 3 weekdays with those hours).
•
Compensation: $450/week+ (Full-time); $360/week+ (4 days); $270/week+ (3 days). Bonuses for fundraising success!
•
No experience necessary

We're a positive, progressive workplace that values diversity and teamwork.

Our campaigns focus on real environmental issues facing Texans, and we work year-round until we win!

• We are working to improve clean up standards for pollution in Texas, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's process for cleaning up over 50 legacy pollution sites in Texas.
• We are working to pass
good environmental legislation at the State Capitol-and stop lawmakers from rolling back sensible environmental protections.
• We are working to
expand recycling services to apartments, businesses, and public spaces throughout Dallas and the Metroplex.
