Analyst Institute helps progressive changemakers win big fights by figuring out what really works in politics and social justice organizing. We collaborate directly with progressive organizations across the country to grow the impact of their programs through gold standard research and experimentation, and we serve as a clearinghouse for evidence-based best practices that benefit the entire progressive movement.

The Role
As Development Director for Analyst Institute, you'll be a critical part of our senior executive team, helping our organization secure the resources necessary to meet our expanded goals and vision for 2020 and beyond. This is a new, full-time position, and we seek someone who will embrace the challenge of building out the internal infrastructure needed to raise $2 - $4 million annually, through a combination of major gifts, annual commitments, individual donor solicitations, and engagement of external allies. You'll also play a key role in the growth of our Directed Research Fund program by helping to secure funds separate from our overall budget to expressly support research conducted with our allies in priority areas of study.
