Yes! For A Better San Diego starts tackling San Diego's homeless crisis head on, providing the funding necessary to help homeless families move off our streets and back on their feet. The measure expands and modernizes the economic engine of our city – the convention center – and creates 7,000 quality, blue collar jobs for working people to get ahead. The measure helps fill potholes fast and repaves our streets, 150 miles a year. Best of all hotel visitors pay, not San Diegans. The hotel and tourism industries support the measure as do prominent Democrats, Republicans, the Taxpayers Association, San Diego's Labor Unions, and Father Joe Carroll. By voting Yes! you'll help create a better San Diego for all.
Campaign Manager Responsibilities:
· Oversee major aspects of day-to-day campaign operations
· Work with general consultant and strategic team to develop and execute campaign plan
· Coordinate daily between campaign consultants, strategic team and campaign coalition
· Serve as clearing house for campaign priorities, schedule, deadlines/deliverables
· Maintain relationships between campaign team, supporters, donors, major endorsers
· Manage the campaign budget in coordination with consultants, campaign leadership
Campaign Manager Requirements:
·
Previous campaign management or high level field/communications experience
· Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
· Ability to motivate, mobilize and manage staff and supporters
· Tech savvy and familiarity with campaign technology
· Excellent written, interpersonal and strategic skills
· Committed to work long hours and excited to take on tough challenges
· Comfortable working under pressure and under strict deadlines
· Valid Drivers' License and access to a vehicle is required
