Congressional frontline re-elect campaign is looking for a full time Finance Director for the 2020 cycle. The ideal candidate works well in competitive environments and is extremely organized with significant fundraising experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the candidate, campaign manager, and consultant team to set fundraising goals and further develop the finance plan
- Plan and oversee all fundraising events
- Manage donor relations
- Work with the Deputy FD to manage and oversee call time
- Supervise finance staff
- Coordinate with compliance firm
- Work with manager on cashflow and budget
Qualifications and experience:
- At least one cycle of Finance Director experience, or multiple cycles as a Finance Assistant or equivalent position
- Thorough knowledge of NGP, ActBlue and other fundraising tools
- Staff management experience a plus
- Ability to excel and perform in a high-stress, fast paced environment
- Must be able to work campaign hours as well as nights and weekends as needed
Details:
Ideal start date: January 1, 2020
Salary commensurate with experience and fundraising ability
Must relocate to the district
