Delegate Jennifer Carroll Foy's Leadership PAC, Virginia for Everyone, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our growing Finance team. The Finance Assistant will report directly to the Finance Director and will play an integral role in the campaign's robust fundraising operation including directing and staffing the candidate's call time.
The Finance Assistant will:
Prepare donor research and help build a research strategy to grow our statewide and national network.
Help prepare and staff candidate call time.
Complete timely follow up to call time and donor meetings.
Continually update and assist with maintaining database records. This includes managing appropriate trackers, software, and reports as well as leading on consistent finance updates to the Finance Director and PAC Director.
Staff candidate at meetings, events, and fundraisers.
Provide organizational support for the day-to-day operations of the finance team.
Qualifications:
Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be versed in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, ActBlue, and NGP.
Attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to manage several tasks/projects at the same time.
Requirements:
At least 1 cycle of campaign finance experience.
Must have call time and event experience.
Must have a valid driver's license, access to a computer, and a reliable mode of transportation.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. This position is based in the DC/Virginia metro area and will require occasional travel and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
