Robbie For Congress is seeking a creative, passionate, and highly-motivated person to join the campaign as its Finance Director and help elect a bold progressive to represent the Massachusetts Eighth Congressional District. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
The ideal candidate will be resourceful and flexible with a proven track record of crafting and executing fundraising strategies and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. They will also have the ability to excel while working on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.

Reports to: Campaign Manager
This Position Is: Full-time, Exempt, Non-Union
Salary: $5,000 per month for the duration of the campaign
Responsibilities
Working with the fundraising consultant and finance committee to set and execute goals as well as a Finance Plan
Managing candidate call time
Ensure databases and call sheets are organized and up to date
Supervise daily check collection, deposit, and data entry, in compliance with FEC regulations and in coordination with the Treasurer and compliance
Identify and research prospective donors
Track and execute all required follow up from calls
Coordinate fundraisers and house parties with fundraising consultant, including recruiting hosts, printing and mailing invitations, soliciting and acknowledging donors
Recruit, train, and manage a team of 2-3 finance interns and volunteers
Manage sending of thank you letters
Staff fundraisers and prepare necessary briefing materials
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong judgment
1-2 years experience in political fundraising preferred
Be highly organized, have great attention to detail, self-motivated, and willing to work a campaign schedule including some possible travel and irregular hours
Familiarity with NGP and ActBlue preferred
Organized self-starter with strong time management and strategic planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
A commitment to contributing to a workplace environment in which diversity is valued and supported
Willing to work as a team member and to contribute to a positive team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenges and obstacles with tact, diplomacy, and flexibility
