Overview:
Midwest Congressional Frontline Race looking for a finance director to start January 2020.
Responsibilities:
The Finance Director is responsible for developing and executing the fundraising plan. This includes but is not limited to:
- Manage call time, events, mail program and other activities to hit fundraising goals and deadlines
- Manage and collaborate with relevant consultants and committees
- Supervise the finance team, oversee the internship program, and manage volunteers
- Track day-to-day fundraising and disbursements, and work with compliance staff to ensure accurate FEC reporting
- Facilitate all donor correspondence and follow up on pledges
- Provide regular finance reports
- Maintain records of all relevant activity in databases like NGP and ActBlue
- Oversee donor prospecting and research, and expand the candidate's donor networks
- Assist with other tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Multiple cycles of finance experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
