Campaign Coordinator Position
We are a competitive state legislative in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley looking to hire a campaign coordinator through our March 3 primary and (hopefully) beyond to November 2020.
This is a hybrid role containing elements of field, finance, bodying, and office management. Hours will be long as we sprint toward the March primary. We're willing to adapt this role around the skills of the right candidate, but the ability to follow up and remain organized in an occasionally chaotic environment is essential.
Each day is different but most days will include:
- Assisting the candidate with call time, taking notes and sending follow up emails.
- Accompanying the candidate to events (including some that will feature prominent figures in business, politics, government and academia).
- Keeping track of the campaign's email and responding to inquiries.
- Coordinating and executing events (e,g coffees, house parties, small scale fundraisers)
- Posting on social media.
- Direct voter contact (door knocking/phone calls), especially as we get close to the primary.
We're interested in hiring someone with superlative conscientiousness, organizational skills and diligence. Political experience is great but so is experience as an administrator, executive assistant, office manager or related.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
