Future Now is seeking a Deputy Policy Director to develop, plan, and execute strategies to fulfill the goals and mission of Future Now's lawmaker services programming. Reporting to the Director of Policy & Programs, the primary responsibility of this position is to help ensure Future Now's policy work is aligned with the organization's mission. The organization is seeking an individual who is knowledgeable and adept at managing and executing a range of workstreams and balancing competing priorities, while serving as a thought partner to the Director of Policy & Programs.
The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, maintain open and continuous lines of communication, excel in engaging external stakeholders (primarily state lawmakers and donors), be knowledgeable on a range of policy areas, and have excellent organizational skills.
