Barbara Bollier for Kansas is seeking a Digital Organizing Manager for the 2020 campaign cycle. As part of the campaign's digital team, this person will work closely with the political and field teams to build out our digital organizing program. Digital organizing is still a new field, so direct experience is less important than creativity, hustle, big ideas and experimentation.
Location: Mission, KS
Reports to: Digital Director
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Develop and manage the distributed organizing program across various channels including Facebook, Twitter, Slack, SMS, and email
Work with organizers and political team to seamlessly move organizers from online to offline and back
Optimizing our distributed organizing program through constant testing
Cultivate online volunteer communities
Organize message amplification systems to help spread the campaign's message
Be an integral part of a hardworking campaign team, willing to jump in wherever you're needed
Qualifications:
Experience with political campaigns or advocacy organizations working in field, digital or distributed organizing.
Experience developing volunteer pipelines
Great interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge of digital organizing tools
An understanding that working for a political campaign is never a nine-to-five job
