The Iowa Democratic Party is seeking Field Organizers to manage party outreach, growth, and programs, including the First in the Nation Caucuses. This position will report directly to a District Organizing Director. The will be a full-time, short term position focused on the caucus.
Duties Include:
- Building relationships with county party officers and local activists.
- Developing and facilitating trainings.
- Recruiting and managing volunteers for events and voter contact.
- Working with local partners and groups throughout the district.
- Executing the 2020 Caucus Plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one cycle of campaign experience as a fellow or intern;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
- Knowledge of Votebuilder, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred;
- Travel, cell phone, laptop and reliable vehicle is required
