The congressional lines in NC have been redrawn and the state is filled with opportunity for political staffers. This candidate is running in an open seat, with no incumbent, and the District heavily favors a Democrat in the General. There are multiple candidates in the Primary, and it's anyone's race to win. This candidate got into the race 15 days before EoQ and raised $75,000 before Jan 1. We're in a position to win this seat and we're looking to hire a competent finance director to oversee the finance plan moving forward.
Campaign Facts:
Top-Tier Consultant team including, TV, Mail, Digital, and Pollster
Experienced Campaign Manager, that's won races in PA and SC, hired and on the ground
Candidate has the ability to fundraise
Candidate has 5 years experience as a Cheif of Staff on the Hill
The candidate was a DCCC Top-Tier Finance Director early in her career (she knows what to do to win)
Core job responsibilities:
- Overseeing and executing the campaign finance plan
- Project and update cash flow in coordination with the Campaign Manager
- Hold the Candidate accountable for reaching important fundraising milestones
- Manage any additional finance staff that are hired
- Manage Call Time and Staff the candidate until future finacne staff is hired
- Manage all fundraisers with national and local donors
- Coordinate our digital email program with our digital team
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key donors and stakeholders
- Draft various fundraising communications as needed
- Prepare regular fundraising reports for the Campaign Manager and consultant team
Preferred Professional Background and Experience:
- At least 1+ cycle of finance experience
- Willing to do all tasks within the finance department
- Experience using NGP
- Experience using Google Sheets
