Temporary Data Consulting Contract with Close the Gap California (CTGCA)
- 2-3 month contract starting ASAP
- Monthly retainer negotiable
- Remote OK
- Lead completion of data migration to EveryAction CRM (vendor - non-profit version of NGP) (begun September 2019; one round of UAT complete)
- Represent CTGCA on weekly calls with vendor and data-savvy CTGCA Fundraiser, COO
- Project manage remaining data issues to completion
- Track 50-60 remaining open issues
- Re-test data; oversee volunteer support in re-testing data
- Oversee de-duplication process, including accepting/rejecting de-deuplication proposal from vendor
- Communicate new and ongoing issues to vendor and drive resolution
- Make decisions balancing data integrity needs while prioritizing a swift timeline for a usable database
- Post-migration:
- Migrate all CTGCA data accumulated since initial migration (September 2019) into database
- Recommend solutions for (and potentially resolve) documented outstanding issues with original data
- Assist in setting up future data management processes and best practices
- Potentially assist in training CTGCA staff on vendor platform
