A top-tier Democratic congressional challenger is seeking a motivated, hard-working Field Organizer to start immediately.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Field Organizer will be responsible for a number of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Managing the petition signature process
- Recruiting, training, and managing interns and volunteers in direct voter contact efforts
- Performing direct voter contact
- Entering data
- Working with the staff and campaign manager to meet deadlines and achieve goals
- Expanding volunteer networks and engaging in community activist groups
- Scheduling, planning, and executing regular canvasses and phone banks
- Helping with other aspects of the campaign as necessary
REQUIRED:
- Previous field experience
- Strong knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours
- Reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Passion for electing Democrats
