Congressional Campaign is hiring a Digital Fundraiser to help strategize, plan, and implement a multi-channel grassroots fundraising program, with an emphasis on email fundraising and list building.
We are looking for applicants that have experience on political campaigns or non-profit organizations. Must be willing to work hard, learn on the job, take feedback and course correct as we go.
We'd prefer an on-site, full-time applicant but we are open to part-time and/or remote workers (US only). Remote workers will need to demonstrate a strong track record of high quality work and satisfied past clients.
This job includes:
- Daily email production tasks such as writing content, building mailings, testing, etc.
- Brainstorm, pitch, and write content for our fundraising email program
- Design, run, test, and monitor digital ads designed to build lists.
- Design and execute optimization tests on our email list and other channels
- Monitor boosted posts/ads on various social media sites
Top things we're looking for:
- 2+ year(s) experience in digital fundraising (internships and fellowships count)
- Strong writing skills
- Familiarity with ActBlue, NPG, Blue State Digital (or similar), Facebook Advertising
- A basic knowledge of design programs and HTML/CSS.
- Strong attention to detail
- Extremely hard worker, willing to start early and work late to finish the job.
- Someone who will go the extra mile to learn and figure it out if faced with a problem.
