Title: Wisconsin State Senate 2020 Campaign Managers
Start Date: April, 2020
Description: The Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee (SSDC) is hiring campaign managers for state senate races during the 2020 general election cycle. Campaign managers will serve as the point person between the SSDC and their respective candidate/campaign and be in charge of day-to-day operations within the district.
Key Responsibilities
Build a volunteer base and implement a comprehensive field program as set by the SSDC
Work with both the candidate and the SSDC finance director to develop a finance plan and achieve said plan over the course of the campaign
Alongside the SSDC and partnered consulting firms; test, finalize, and implement a full spectrum voter communication in support of the candidate (direct-mail, digital, television, radio)
Event planning, both for fundraisers and "Get Out The Vote" efforts, along with daily candidate schedule
Drafting rapid campaign communications to in-district and state wide press requests in coordination with both the SSDC and it's consulting partners
Ideal Candidate Will
Have prior experience working or volunteering on a Democratic campaign
Be organized and able to delegate tasks when required to fellow staff and campaign volunteers
Have strong oral and written skills
Possess a valid U.S. Driver License along with reliable transportation
Have previous experience in Microsoft Office, G Suite, Votebuilder, and NGP
Know best practices for social media and be comfortable in using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
