Brianna Wu for Congress is seeking a Field Director for the 2020 primary election in Massachusetts District 8, beginning immediately. Brianna Wu is a strong progressive candidate challenging Rep. Stephen Lynch. Primary cycle runs until September 1st. Experience with and knowledge of Massachusetts politics with existing local contacts and working relationships is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and execute full field plan in consultation with campaign manager and candidate.
· Develop specific plan for getting on the ballot, including local committee organizing and petition collection.
· Work with local volunteers to create a robust volunteer program and manage volunteers' time, goals, and engagement.
· Set and manage field budget in consultation with the campaign manager.
· Develop relationships with local Democratic party leaders, activists, and groups, and maintain engagement and ongoing contact with grassroots organizers.
· Run a data-driven, targeted program that integrates into broader campaign goals and strategies.
· Serve as a senior member of the campaign team, participating in broader strategic discussions and participating in senior operations.
