FINANCE DIRECTOR
A US House candidate in Los Angeles challenging a Democratic establishment incumbent is looking for a full-time Finance Director
The ideal applicant must be goal-driven, passionate, ambitious and fully committed to progressive values, including a workplace free of discrimination and harassment. This is an exciting opportunity to be fully immersed in the progressive wave of challengers.
Description / Duties:
Develop and implement a strategic and aggressive finance plan covering events, candidate call time, digital fundraising and other fundraising avenues
Create and manage a candidate call time plan to hit targets and deadlines
Represent campaign publicly, build relationships with community supporters
Execute and manage donor research and expand candidate's new donor networks
Coordinate campaign accounting and compliance needs
Willingness to travel throughout the district and out of town as needed to be successful
Desired Experience:
2+ cycles of campaign finance experience required
Thorough knowledge of NGP, ActBlue and other fundraising tools
Ability to excel in a high-stress, fast paced environment
Experience with donor research, call time, and fundraising event planning
Must be able to work campaign hours, including nights and weekends, if needed
COMPENSATION: Negotiable
LOCATION: Must reside in Los Angeles, CA area or be willing to relocate
