Overview
The 2020 Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking a highly motivated, passionate and talented Digital Organizer for our statewide organizing program. The PA Coordinated Campaign will play a critical role in electing a Democrat to the White House, re-electing Attorney General Shapiro and Treasurer Torsella, and electing Democrats down-ticket including U.S. House and State Legislative districts across the Commonwealth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deploy new digital tools to support field organizing programmatic objectives
Coordinate closely with field leadership on every aspect of digital integration
Create and execute digital trainings and coach field staff to amplify message, recruit volunteers and create online communities using digital tools and social media platforms
Work effectively with digital departments across multiple campaigns to facilitate communication and support structures for organizing team
Skills & Qualifications:
At least 1-2 cycles of competitive campaign organizing experience; must "speak the language" of organizing
Experience on the user-side of digital tools, i.e. Hustle, Megaphone, Groundgame, Votercircle, etc.
Skilled trainer with strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds
Passion for digital and the intersection between digital, tech and field
Exceptionally well organized and strong time management skills
Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics- driven work environment
Commitment to electing all Democrats on the ballot
The Digital Organizer will report to the Field Director.
