Suraj Patel for Congress, a progressive primary challenge in New York City, is seeking field organizers to start March 1 and work through the end of June. This is an opportunity to work on an exciting, young campaign that plans to win by dramatically increasing millennial voting in New York's District 12.
We're looking for people with some campaign experience, but most importantly, with enthusiasm for the candidate.
Organizers will be the local face of Suraj for NY. Primary responsibilities will include recruiting volunteers, developing and leading community events, and standard voter contact efforts—calls, texts, and 1:1 meetings. Our campaign anticipates having a very large intern and fellow cohort, so field organizers will also have some staff management responsibilities. Organizers will report directly to the Field Director.
