Looking for a group of undergraduate and graduate level campaign interns to start IMMEDIATELY and work up to the June 23rd Democratic primary for a Democratic candidate in Manhattan (NYC).
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Petitioning (gathering signatures to help the candidate get on the ballot),
- Attending public community events,
- Planning events such as fundraisers and meet & greets,
- Canvassing with the candidate and/or volunteers,
- Making phone calls on behalf of the candidate to voters,
- Drafting and editing communication materials,
- Conducting research,
- Data entry,
- Designing flyers and other promotional material,
EXPERIENCE
- Exceptional people skills and patience,
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously under strict deadlines,
- Ream player mentality, but also a self-starter who can work independently,
- Ability to work a standard campaign schedule (long, sometimes irregular hours - evenings, weekends),
- Familiarity with social media, Microsoft Word/EXCEL, Google Docs,
- Ability to travel via public transportation,
- Proficiency in another language a plus but not necessary
