Digital Organizing Director
Amy McGrath for Senate is seeking a Digital Organizing Director for the 2020 campaign cycle. As part of the campaign's digital team, this person will create and execute a digital plan to meet volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals.
Location: Lexington, KY
Duties include (but are not limited to):
● Oversee use of digital voter contact and mobilization tools includes: P2P and mass SMS, relational organizing, digital volunteer management and event tools, and community organizing on social media platforms
● Work with organizing team to integrate digital organizing tools into field program
● Train organizers, volunteers and staff on digital organizing tools and tactics
● Maintain relationships with volunteers and volunteer communities on digital channels
● Propose new tactics and platforms to connect with volunteers and voters in the state
● Serve as a resource for state Mobilization Directors to provide ongoing support and strategic guidance
Qualifications:
● Two cycles or years of relevant experience
● Experience with staff management
● Experience writing and delivering trainings
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
● Strong knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN and an understanding of field metrics
● Good sense of humor and ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment
● Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends
