Charles Booker for Senate is seeking a Field Director for the 2020 campaign cycle. Charles Booker has spent the last decade fighting for everyday Kentuckians, and he is dedicated to making our voices heard in the US Senate. We are building a movement of people all across Kentucky who are excited about our campaign, and we need an energetic and creative Field Director to implement our plan to reach and activate voters across the commonwealth.
Responsibilities
Work with senior campaign leadership to refine and implement a winning field plan that draws on and amplifies the campaign's strengths.
Hire and train a staff of Regional Field Directors and Field Organizers to implement the campaign's direct voter contact goals.
Manage and coach field staff to meet weekly metrics and goals.
Design and execute a large scale GOTV program.
Design and hold trainings for field staff and volunteers, including GOTV training.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
At least three cycles of electoral field organizing experience.
Demonstrated ability to make strategic political decisions.
Familiarity with VAN and other software essential to direct voter contact operations.
Experience with staff management.
Ability to work in a team and adapt quickly in a fast paced work environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Able to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.
A valid driver's license and reliable motor vehicle.
