Organizing Director
Amy McGrath for Senate is seeking an Organizing Director for the 2020 campaign cycle.
Responsibilities
● Develop and supervise overall voter-contact strategy, including but not limited to voter-identification, voter-registration, and get-out-the-vote drives
● Manage day-to-day operations, hiring and management of staff, and other administrative duties as required
● Work with director-level direct-reports to develop staffing plans and oversee recruitment of diverse staff to execute campaign programs
● Oversee, manage, and lead inter-team planning between the directors leading teams campaign efforts including: field, digital organizing, GOTV, training, etc.
● Provide regular reports and updates to senior staff on program progress, including but not limited to field numbers and other program statistics
● Support the senior leadership team in effectively communicating the goals, objectives, and progress of the voter contact program to donors, party leaders, and other stakeholders
● Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
● Four cycles of organizing experience
● Experience with staff management
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Good sense of humor and ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment.
● Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
● A valid driver's license and reliable motor vehicle.
