Summer Campaign Internship
It is important to ensure that campaigns are kicked off into high gear early on in the election season! There are many opportunities to gain working and political experience from interning on a campaign.
Who and what are we looking for?
Smart, driven, and energetic people who are committed to learning more about politics and campaigns.
A weekly commitment of 8-10 hours per week, remotely until further notice.
Internships are available for all campaign branches:
Field
Assist with the continuous development and execution of our field plan, including volunteer management and event planning.
Direct Voter Contact: Through virtual phone banking, organizing (digital) events, and texting, you will be speaking with voters directly to identify supporters.
Finance
Support day-to-day finance operations including organizing and staffing call time, fundraising emails, and outreach.
Helping to plan and execute (digital) fundraising events.
Digital
Drafting & executing posts for social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more.
Helping facilitate the flow of creative ideas for emails, digital events, and social media.
Drafting emails
Data
Assist with data input for the campaign in NGP, VAN, spreadsheets & more
Analyzing data & making recommendations based on research findings
Communication:
Monitor local media outlets for positive press and media opportunities.
Assist with social media strategy and execution.
