The Montana Democratic Party is hiring top-tier, goal oriented and creative Deputy Data Director for its highly targeted national and state races. The positions are based in Montana locations and begin immediately. MDP will play a critical role in electing Democrats up and down the ticket including statewide U.S. Senate, Governor and U.S. House races.
The position reports to the Coordinated Campaign Data Director.

Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with experience. The MDP offers a generous paid health insurance plan and paid travel compensation.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Administer and support VAN and other tools for the organizing team
Provide trainings on VAN and hold data office hours
Manage data questions and flags
Maintain data standards and supporting documents for the field team
Monitor and promote data integrity and cleanliness
Design and maintain reports to the specifications of the field team
Skills and Experience:
At least one cycle of experience on a campaign, with experience using VoteBuilder
At least intermediate Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience
Desire to learn and use new data & analytics tools and processes
Preferred: Familiarity with SQL
Preferred: Familiarity with Python or R
