Voter Contact Director
The Voter Contact Director will be responsible for both long term planning and day-to-day operations of the voter contact program. They will coordinate all contacts across all universes including but not limited to doors, phones, relational, P2P SMS, Mass SMS, mail, and paid digital media. Managing all campaign and coordinated partner channels and universes, they will ensure that there are no gaps or overlaps, using every resource as efficiently as possible.
This is a election cycle position through November 15, 2020 and will report to the Coordinated Campaign Director.
Responsibilities Include:
● Facilitate voter contact program planning and analysis alongside HQ leadership team
● Coordinate voter contact universes between table partners and national committees, helping to ensure coverage and limit overlap
● Work with organizing, data and digital teams to execute all stages of voter contact, including early vote and GOTV operations
● Manage all aspects of voter contact program, including Early Vote, GOTV, and Paid Canvass operations
Skills and Qualifications:
● One to two cycles in an electoral organizing management role
● At least one cycle (or one year at a progressive organization) working directly with data, digital, and/or tech departments on program design
● Strong interest in how voter contact channels from different constituencies interact with each other
● Ability to ingest and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data sets
● Expert understanding of VAN infrastructure and progressive digital/data tools
● Competitive candidates should have a background in both practical department management structures and theoretical voter contact efficacy
