Deputy Digital Director - Paid Media
Amy McGrath for Senate is seeking a Social Media Organizer for the 2020 campaign cycle. As part of the campaign's digital organizing team, this person will use social media to foster volunteer community, motivate first time volunteers to take action and lift up a diversity of voices in the community.
Responsibilities and duties:
Project manage large paid media program: persuasion, fundraising, acquisition, education and mobilization.
Manage internal creative and vendor relationships to drive projects to completion.
Track content and messaging across platforms and audiences.
Create and manage timelines internally and externally.
Understand broad campaign messaging priorities and align to strategic recommendations for organic and paid digital program.
Preferred experience and skills:
At least 2 years or 1 cycle working on the digital team on a campaign.
Cycle experience with paid media programs.
Knowledge of paid media best practices: pacing, frequency, impressions, etc.
Understanding of paid media platforms: Youtube, Facebook, programmatic DSPs and knowledge of the basic metrics associated with a successful paid media campaign.
Has experience analyzing ad reports, exporting and manipulating platform data, outlining actionable insights that reflect the data presented.
Attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects working with partners across departments.
Understanding that campaign jobs are never 9-to-5.
