The Whitfield for Texas campaign is seeking summer fellows to support Jeff and his campaign efforts. Summer fellows will be introduced to all aspects of a state legislative race, including field, finance, communications, and more.
Summer fellow responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Field work
Volunteer recruitment and retention
Donor research and fundraising efforts
Event planning when applicable
Assisting in preparing materials for social media and other communications work
Administrative tasks for the team when needed
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stay organized and handle several projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Enthusiasm and an interest in campaigns/politics
Race is based in the Fort Worth, Texas area, but there are opportunities for fellows to work remotely, especially with current COVID-19 concerns. Fellowships are unpaid with the potential to become paid positions in the fall.
