This is a DCCC targeted Frontline race. The seat was flipped in 2018 for the first time since the 70s due to the impressive organization built on the ground--we're building off of that infrastructure.

Field Organizer - Casten for Congress
Congressman Sean Casten's re-election campaign is seeking motivated, reliable, and passionate team players to join our campaign as Field Organizers. In 2018, Sean Casten flipped this seat because of strong organizing on the ground. This year we're not letting that slip one inch. This is an exciting re-election campaign for one of the most competitive races in the country.
Job Description:
Implement aspects of the campaign's field and voter contact program
Build relationships with, recruit, train, and manage volunteers, interns, and activists to participate in and run grassroots activities (i.e. door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and early voting to persuade and turn out voters)
Meet and exceed goals for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, visibility, and GOTV
Responsibilities Include:
Proactively reach out to active volunteers and identify and recruit new volunteers
Communicate proactively and effectively with colleagues
Preparing canvass and call materials
Daily data entry of organizing and voter contact data accurately and on time
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines
Willingness to work extensive hours, including nights and weekends
Ability to problem solve effectively and creatively
Strong communication and organizational skills, showing attention to detail
Goal-orientation and willingness to hold oneself accountable
A team orientation that combines collegiality and creativity to drive and motivate others
Good sense of humor and ability to adapt to changing needs and program priorities
Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ folks are strongly encouraged to apply
Pay is $3,500/month
