National Domestic Workers Alliance and Care in Action are looking to hire in-state Data Leads through the election cycle (ending November 13, 2020) in order to help facilitate a data-driven, efficient, effective approach to our voter contact program.
We are hiring one part-time data lead for each of our target states: Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The data lead position reports to the State Director for that state, and also will work closely with Data Leads in other states and with the full-time data associate and data director. The position will split its time between work for National Domestic Workers Alliance and Care in Action.
Responsibilities:
Create phonebanks and pair scripts with target audiences in partnership with data team
Create new users for staff and volunteers in VAN, Hubdialer, or ThruTalk as needed
Monitor active phone banks to ensure new campaigns are pulled on time according to the state's GOTV plan
Work with the data team to ensure that state staff have access to weekly reports on universe saturation, status of phonebanks, phonebanker hours logged, etc.
Serve as primary point of contact for state tables for data sharing and reporting as needed
Lead virtual trainings on voter contact best practices
Troubleshoot all data needs for voter contact program (escalating as needed to data team)
Assist state director and program manager in managing GOTV calendar, and responding to needs as they arise
Attend state table meetings as appropriate to hear updates and apply learning (also to escalate requests to data coordinator/director as needed)
Attend weekly calls with other in-state data leads, data associate, and data director
Potentially attend weekly state programs team calls
Attend bi-weekly political team calls
Qualifications:
Deep experience using Voter Activation Network (VAN)
Experience using HubDialer, OpenVPB, and ThruTalk a plus
At least two cycles of in-state organizing experience, such as working on candidate or coordinated campaigns, collaborating with state tables, familiarity with in-state organizing landscape, etc.
Collaborative work style and team player
Commitment to progressive values like economic justice, racial justice, and gender justice
