Field Organizer - Cunningham for Congress
Congressman Joe Cunningham (SC-01) is seeking talented, hard-working Field Organizers.
In 2018, Cunningham flipped the seat from Republican to Democrat for the first time in 40 years. In order to hold onto this seat we are going to need a top tier organizing program.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to expand the volunteer network for the campaign.
Manage and execute voter contact tactics such as phone banks, text banks, canvasses, voter registration drives, and visibility events. Please note, these tactics will vary based on the environment related to COVID-19 that we will be working in.
Meet daily and weekly voter contact and volunteer recruitment goals.
Use digital tools to expand our voter outreach.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local partner organizations and elected officials.
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to the election of Democrats up and down the ballot
Adaptable to changing needs and program priorities
Positive attitude required
Previous political campaign experience a plus
This job is based in SC-01. Successful applicants will be expected to relocate.
