So many people are realizing the power of local government for the first time these past few months. At LA Forward, holding local governments in Los Angeles accountable for advancing justice has always been our mission. Through a unique combination of community organizing, policy education, and digital activism, we're bringing together a community of people to fight for policies that will make LA a fair, flourishing place for everyone. We recently launched a Neighborhood Organizing Project, which is creating a network of local groups across LA County who will hold elected officials accountable to support policies uplifted by movements for justice. We do that by leveraging the power of our predominantly middle-class membership. We've done everything so far with one employee and a team of amazing volunteers.
Now, to keep up the momentum, LA Forward is seeking to recruit a freelance Organizing specialist for a part-time, temporary contract position.
