Job Title: Deputy Field Director and Mobilization Director

Salary: $4000-$5000 a month, based on experience

Benefits: Health insurance

Location: Partially remote, NYC preferred; NYC required as we near June 22 election 

Reports to: Field Director

Description: 

The Deputy Field Director and Mobilization Director will manage and execute the digital components of the campaign's Field Program. This person will work in tandem with the Field Director to develop a multifaceted, digitally innovative field plan and execute a top tier mobilization program aimed at online volunteer recruitment, voter engagement, and getting out the vote. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Recruit and train volunteers virtually;

2. Leverage social media networks to tap into communities and engage voters;

3. Develop and execute a peer-to-peer texting plan that complements the overall field plan;

4. Draft social media posts and emails to boost online voter engagement;

5. Build strategies for online relational organizing;

6. Find innovative ways to reach voters on their phones/computers/tablets.

Requirements:

1. 1-2 cycles on a campaign's field or digital team;

2. Experience with virtual organizing and peer-to-peer texting platforms;

3. Excellent attention to detail, organizational and project management skills;

4. Passion for progressive policies and electing progressive leaders; 

5. A positive attitude, creative problem-solving approach and a relentless energy for organizing;

6. Bonus points: NYC-based or NYC organizing experience.
