State Senator Luis Sepulveda is seeking a campaign manager for his run for Bronx Borough President
New York State Senator Luis R. Sepulveda has represented the South Bronx in the state's 32nd Senate District since 2018. In the past two years, he built winning coalitions around the Green Light Bill and DREAM Act, two of most progressive immigration reform bills in the country. As an outspoken progressive who endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2016 and 2020, Senator Sepulveda is running to bring big ideas and new leadership to the Bronx Borough President's office.
The campaign manager will oversee all day-to-day operations including field, fundraising, communications, and political/endorsements. We are seeking someone with experience in New York City politics and a deep familiarity with each component of the campaign.
We are looking for candidates to start as soon as possible. The position will continue through the primary in late June, with the possibility of future employment through November and beyond.

Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and implementing a robust voter contact plan, with the help of field staff
- Coordinating a volunteer-led ballot petitioning process
- Managing a complex budget
- Coordinating GOTV efforts
- Overseeing communications (messaging, press, e-blasts, social media, website updates, campaign literature, graphic design, etc.)
- Overseeing recruitment, training, and management of volunteers and interns
- Managing endorsements (survey completion, interview prep, and coordination post-endorsement)
- Managing day-to-day operations of campaign ensuring that all tasks and goals are completed
- Prioritizing the candidate's activities and presence across the district
- At least one cycle as field director, communications director, or campaign manager
Required skills/experience:
- Advanced proficiency in VAN (ability to cut complex universes)
Preferred skills/experience:
- Spanish fluency
- At least one cycle of campaign experience in New York City.
- Proficiency with Squarespace, Mailchimp, Spoke Text, and ThruTalk/CallHub
- $6000/monthly salary, including compensation for benefits via salary adjustment
