The Antonio Reynoso for Borough President campaign is looking for a full-time Field Organizer to build a field operation for this competitive and progressive race in Brooklyn, New York. 


About Antonio Reynoso

Antonio Reynoso is the Council Member for the 34th District, representing parts of Bushwick, Ridgewood, and Williamsburg. Antonio was born and raised in the Southside of Williamsburg to parents who emigrated from the Dominican Republic. He is currently serving his second term in office, and throughout this time, he has been committed to improving the quality of life within the district while advancing progressive, bold legislation citywide. 


Field Organizer Responsibilities


  • Adhere to a field plan that engages nearly every voter in Brooklyn

  • Meet weekly voter contact efforts and report performance compared to benchmarks

  • Recruit and train volunteers to reach voter contact goals 

  • Recruit for organizing events 

  • Facilitate organizing meetings and voter contact events

  • Complete direct voter contact shifts 

The ideal candidate will have these qualities:


  • Strong ability to take feedback and adapt 

  • Commitment to progressive values 

  • Critical thinking skills 

  • Self-starter with great time management, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in achieving strategic and measurable targets

  • Creativity to organize in different ways

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially listening skills and ability to communicate professionally and empathetically, in writing and verbally


Field Organizer Qualifications

  • Familiarity and experience in Brooklyn

  • Experience using voter contact systems, such as a dialer and a texting program, is preferred, but not required

  • Office management skills including volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and retention



This position will be compensated at $4,000  per month. Interviews will be done on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
