Former NYC Census Director Julie Menin is running for the Democratic Nomination in City Council District 5 (Upper East Side, Roosevelt Island, East Harlem).
We are looking for motivated applicants who want to be a part of a large and quickly growing team as an organizer.
Duties will include:
- Volunteer recruitment & management
- Event Management
- Regular contact with Voters, Volunteers and Community Leaders
Qualifications
- Good people skills
- Willing to work hard
- Good team player
- Past organizing experience preferred, but not required.
Salary: $3,500 per month thru June, 2021
This position will have remote and in-person requirements, depending on the public health situation and the needs of the campaign, so applicants should either live nearby or should be able to relocate to within a reasonable commute of the Upper East Side.
