The Finance Associate/ Lead Organizer will serve a hybrid role assisting both the Finance Director and the Field Director. Our goal is to fund and implement the most effective persuasion and turnout program in New York's 20th City Council District (Flushing and Murray Hill) and win the Democratic Primary on June 22nd. This is a great opportunity for Field staff to hone their organizing skills in a competitive primary and expand their knowledge of campaign finance.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Finance Director with logging campaign contributions and submitting all finance reports in a timely manner
• Take ownership of special projects for the Finance Director
• Assist the Field Director with day-to-day voter outreach operations

• Partner with Field Organizers to hone best practices, overcome challenges, and promote positive workplace culture
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
• Coordinate the campaign internship program
• Implement direct voter contact efforts with COVID safety precautions, including phone banking, tabling, door-to-door canvassing, visibility events, and digital organizing
• Work within data-driven accountability structures to accomplish programmatic goals
• Flexibility to complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in electoral politics and movement building
• One or more cycles of political and/or issue-based campaign experience
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Proficient in office productivity software, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive).
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to New York City
Preferred Skills:
• Conversational Mandarin, Korean, and/or Spanish
• Experience using financial management software
