We're mixing up our platform tonight and trying Clubhouse. If you've heard about it but never used Clubhouse - now is your chance. We set up The Persistence Club which you can join and scheduled a room at 7 PM ET. If you haven't used the app or aren't on it and need an invite - let us know. I have a few personal ones and can get more. There is one issue with a clubhouse which is it is ios only - it means you need an iPhone or iPad to use it. Sorry if that doesn't work for you. This is just one of several ways we will gather in the future.
Tonight Holli Holliday, President at Sisters Lead Sisters Vote & Chief Strategist at Holliday Advisors, and a leader with #WinWithBlackWomen and René Redwood, of Redwood Enterprise, are joining us to talk about moving forward - how we can work for real justice. We are currently surveying our users to learn how GAIN POWER can be more effective during the pandemic to help people find jobs. What we have learned so far is the job seekers want more virtual career fairs. At GAIN POWER, we believe that transparency is the key to demystifying, diversifying, and democratizing the Democratic and Progressive movement.
