Description:
The Director of Policy Development & Assessment will have the opportunity to oversee and scale policy development and assessment activities, including to work across internal teams and with external partners on complex policy and strategic questions and to serve as an internal advisor.
The Director will oversee processes to identify, assess and develop policies for FNA's model policy library at americasgoals.org and to ensure policy resources are sufficient to meet internal and external needs and help achieve America's Goals by 2030. The Director will also help establish, oversee and provide ongoing improvement to assessment processes, including short- and long-term organizational goal setting through an Objectives and Key Results process, and assessment of states' progress toward America's Goals, as currently assessed at americasgoals.org/reportcard. Such work may include hiring of additional staff or consultants that the Director would manage.
This role requires significant oversight of high-stakes collaboration and critical processes and content across teams and externally in alignment with FNA & FNF's mission and values. The role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and will manage one direct report (subject to hiring timelines), consultants, and vendors in 2021.
