[jobsthatareLEFT by GAIN] Casting Call for Management Trainers

The Management Center is expanding our team of part-time and full-time trainers to help leaders working for social change build and run more effective organizations.

We're holding open auditions in D.C. in October to find our next brilliant trainers. Download the training materials to prep and sign up for an audition slot here:

http://www.managementcenter.org/about-us/trainer-casting-call/

Who we're looking for: People in the D.C. area who can captivate the room in an engaging training, and who have experience managing high-performing teams. If you've run successful teams, can thoughtfully navigate issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion, and have the ability to keep people on the edge of their seats in a training, we are looking for you!

The position: We're looking for both full-time and part-time (60% time or more) trainers to join our team. Our clients work on issues – like promoting immigration reform, fighting for racial, economic and gender justice, advocating for educational equity, and protecting voting rights – where they face an inherently uphill battle and so must fight more effectively than their opponents if they are going to win. We aim to help them do that by making their organizations as effective as possible.

Given the current state of our country, we are more committed than ever to reaching as many organizations as possible, and we need more outstanding trainers to do that!

How to apply: We'll be holding auditions for D.C.-based candidates in October, and we're making the application process super simple. We are most interested in seeing you train (and that's what you love to do anyway!), so we'll ask you to prepare a 10-minute slice of our training, and to come do that training in person. To apply, download the training materials and sign up for an audition time here:

http://www.managementcenter.org/about-us/trainer-casting-call/

We make a particular effort to recruit people of color and indigenous people to apply for all of our positions.

Please note:

·       In-person auditions will be held in our Washington, D.C. office, so we're limiting this casting call to candidates based in those areas. However, we are also looking for talented people across the country, and we encourage candidates based outside of the D.C. area to apply through our traditional (but still exciting!) application process.

·       If you are in the D.C. area, but are unable to make one of our audition slots, we encourage you to apply though our traditional application process.

·       You can see our traditional application process and the full job description for trainers here.

·       We are accepting sign-ups on a rolling basis, though we anticipate our audition slots will fill up quickly, so we encourage you to apply soon!
