Capitol Hill based Democratic fundraising and political consulting firm seeks Fundraising Associate.
We are looking for a fundraising professional who will be joining a team of veteran campaign fundraisers to plan and execute DC/PAC fundraising plans for clients. Responsibilities:
· Create donor universe and staff call time, completing all appropriate follow up;
· Event planning: drafting invitations, booking venues and reviewing contracts, advancing and staffing events;
· Networking: building and maintaining positive relationships with labor unions, government affairs professionals and lobbyists;
· Assists with FEC compliance and reporting;
· Reports to Senior Management on weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.
Ability to prioritize multiple time sensitive projects at one time and working under tight deadlines is required. Extreme attention to detail is required. Political fundraising experience is preferred but not required. FEC compliance knowledge/experience and proficiency with NGP and Microsoft Office is preferred. This is not an entry level position.
