Position Description
The Development Director is responsible for the oversight and management of the Coalition's fund development efforts, including major gifts, corporate sponsorships, events, and mail and email appeals. The Development Director works directly with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to create a strong community base of financial support.
A non-profit environmental advocacy group founded in a historic bipartisan effort has successfully advocated for more than $1.2 billion for over 1200 projects through the local region and Recreation Program and the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund. Members consist of a diverse group of over 280 organizations representing conservation, business, recreation, hunting, fishing, farming and community interests. The breadth and diversity of the Coalition is the key to its success -- no one member could secure such a high level of funding for parks and habitat on its own.
