New Partners, a progressive, full service political consulting firm with specialties in strategic advising/consulting, communications, research, fundraising/development and field/grassroots strategy, seeks a spring intern for the Digital department in our firm's Washington, D.C. office. Candidates should possess strong oral and written communication skills, solid organizational skills and attention to detail, and sound political instincts. He or she must also have the ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple projects at once. All candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office suite. The firm is looking for both full-time and part-time interns. Monthly stipend.
Responsibilities
• Assist staff with social media and websites• Draft email blasts, reports, and web content
• Manage data and analytics
• Provide administrative support
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Qualifications:• Experience working in progressive politics
• Understanding of social media tools and trends
• Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus
• Experience in graphic design or development is also a plus
