ABOUT MORE THAN ME
More Than Me is on a mission to make sure education and opportunity, not exploitation and poverty, define the lives of the most vulnerable girls from the West Point Slum of Liberia. When she graduates, she will decide what comes next for her life.
By understanding intimately the nuances of the local community, remaining flexible to respond rapidly to urgent needs, and supporting efforts that have the highest return, we are fighting for the future of these children. Not only do we give these girls an education, but we now also have partnered with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and others on the ground to get Ebola out of Liberia – and its working!
Looking forward, we know our mission needs to, and will, expand. We have an enormous opportunity to rebuild education in Liberia. And because of the consequences that a broken education system has on girls, such as an Ebola outbreak or war, our team must do all we can to THINK AND ACT BIGGER.
