Change Corps seeks people interested in getting involved in politics to help us recruit talented candidates for our one-year training program for young grassroots organizers. Applicants should be friendly, organized, politically savvy, and creative. You will be recruiting staff that will work on issues that make a huge difference. Many people want a country that's more equal and democratic, one that's greener, and one that respects our freedom as individuals while realizing that we're all in this together. But many of us are frustrated because change is stuck on so many levels.
That's where Change Corps comes in. We're a group of experienced organizers who understand that new organizers need a place to start, learn, and make their mark. The Director will be recruiting these new organizers to enter the program, where they will gain the knowledge and skills to power social change campaigns. This is a great way to get involved, learn more about our organization, and build your resume!
Specific responsibilities include:
· Candidate Outreach: Identify and contact top candidates, interviewing them and assisting with final placements.
· List-building: Create and manage a list of new recruits
Qualifications
Must have passion for social change and a friendly, hard-working attitude. We also value experience with online organizing and social media.
Salary & Benefits
Salary for this position is commensurate with the relevant professional experience and/or advanced degrees that a candidate has. Change Corps offers a competitive benefits package.
