Political Organizer

Bay Area based political consulting firm seeks experienced Political Organizers for political outreach activities in San Francisco

Full Time (Temp)

Responsibilities:

Political Organizers will be responsible for implementing advocacy program, including outreach to members of local political clubs, small business and community organizations. Political Organizers will report directly to the Campaign Manager.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of the San Francisco political environment
  • At least 1+ cycle of San Francisco based campaign experience 
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)

The successful candidate will have:
  • Excellent verbal communications skills 
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse group of organizations and individuals
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to meet and exceed goals independently
  • Creative and effective problem solving skills especially in pressure situations

This position is based in San Francisco, candidates must be prepared to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
